The importance of physical fitness

Being physically fit has enormous positive effects on general well-being. Exercise improves our mood, and has cardio-protective benefits such as increasing our ‘good’ cholesterol and reducing triglycerides (one of the ‘bad’ types of cholesterol).

It can also help us to sleep better, maintain a healthy weight and be a good way to meet new people. Above all, exercise should be fun!
